AMESBURY Town have confirmed a quartet of pre-season friendlies at their Bonneymead Park ground.

The Wessex Premier outfit host Devizes Town on Saturday, July 8, then welcome Sherborne Town a week later.

Oxford Nomads visit on Tuesday, July 25 with Wessex Division One side Weymouth Reserves completing the warm-up matches on July 29.

BEMERTON Heath Harlequins has confirmed it is to run a second team next season and are looking to fill positions in its management structure.

The Western Way side wishes to hear from anyone interested in becoming manager of the side or part of the management team ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

The club is also inviting any would-be players to contact them ahead of pre-season training.

AN Eddie Perrett goal against former club Bemerton Heath Harlequins ensured Salisbury FC lifted the Salisbury Hospital Cup on Wednesday evening.

His tenth minute effort helped the Whites win 1-0 at Partridge Way.

A spokesman for the organisers of the competition said that £300 was raised for a variety of hospital charitable projects.

RINGWOOD Town FC stages its annual Mini-Soccer Tournament and Festival of Football at the club's Long Lane home over the weekend of May 20/21.

The Football Festival of Fun will see under sevens and eights playing five-a-side matches in line with FA recommendations in a non-competitive format with every player involved receiving a medal to thank them for their participation.

The under nines' and tens' events will follow a competitive format but with every player involved also receiving a medal.

These games will also be five a side but played in a league format with teams heading into quarter final, and semi-final knockout stages. The winning team and the runners-up will receive medals. Categories range from under nines to 17s and entry is £30 per team (maximum seven per squad).

AMESBURY Town have named Gareth Horner and Carlo Downie as its new management team for the 2017/18 season.

The Blues have alos confirmed they will host pre-season friendlies against Sherborne Town on Saturday, July 15 and Oxford City Nomads on Tuesday, July 25 (7.30pm).
