SALISBURY FC will look to return to winning ways this evening when they host bottom of the table Bridgwater Town in their latest Evo-Stik Division One South & West contest.

The Whites lost 4-0 at the weekend at home to Hereford, who were crowned champions.

Salisbury have tasted defeat in their last three league and cup outings, and have slipped to fifth in the table. However, a win this evening would see them climb to third.

A defeat would effectively relegate the visitors, who have won just two league games all season.

Kick off at Old Sarum is at 7.45pm.

SALISBURY FC suffered a hefty 4-0 reverse at home to Hereford, whose three-point haul, combined with other results going their way, ensured they secured the league title and promotion to the Evo-Stik League Premier Division.

In front of a crowd of just over 1,800, the visitors raced into a 3-0 half-time lead courtesy of goals by Symons (seven minutes), Molyneaux (15 mins) and Haysham (30 mins).

Symons' second goal, 12 minutes into the second half, completed the scoring.

Elsewhere, fellow promotion hopefuls Tiverton Town lost 1-0 at Wimborne Town and Taunton Town went down 0-2 at Evesham United ensuring neither can now catch Hereford.

Evesham's win lifts them above Salisbury, who now occupy the fourth play-off place.
