SALISBURY Canoe Club is hosting a taster session on Tuesday evening (September 12) for anyone interested in taking up the sport or joining the Churchfields based organisation.

SALISBURY Canoe Club re-opens next month, slightly later than usual due to the high river levels.

The club will be running a three-day Introduction to Paddlesport scheme on consecutive Sundays during April from 10am to 4.30pm, beginning on April 14.

The first two sessions will be held at the New Forest Water Park near Fordingbridge, with a river trip scheduled for the third.

The cost of the course, which includes boat hire, is £75.
