SOUTH Wilts Cricket Club are sitting pretty at the summit of the Premier Division with just two games to play.

Saturday's success at home to New Milton keeps them clear of Havant and Lymington, who still hold serious title ambitions of their own.

The Wilton Road side won by seven wickets after reaching their target of 134 for the loss of just three wickets. Havant kept their title hopes alive with an eight-wicket win at Burridge, while Lymington won by four wickets at Hampshire Academy.

The race for the title could become clearer after this weekend - South Wilts head to reigning champions Havant, while Lymington host Burridge.

Havant then take on Lymington in their season finale with South Wilts bowing out at St Cross Symondians.
