SOUTH Wilts Cricket Club are back on top of the Southern Premier League table following an eight-wicket success at Burridge.

That result, coupled with Lymington's defeat against Andover, sees the Salisbury side in pole position with just three games to play.

South Wilts won the toss and put the hosts in to bat and it proved a good decision - they were all out for just 107 in 37 overs, having been 70-6 at one point. Ian Holland claimed a quartet of wickets.

The Wilton Road outfit then reached their target for the loss of two wickets.

Meanwhile, Lymington, who started the day in top spot, were bowled out for a mere 87 chasing Andover's 170.

New Milton are South Wilts' next opponents, followed by trips to Havant and St Cross Symondians.
