LAVERSTOCK & Ford will be looking to maintain their perfect start to the season when they welcome Romsey Town tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm) for the first game of the 2017/18 campaign at Church Road.

Three points from their opening Wessex Division One encounter at Ringwood Town and success away at Whitchurch United in last weekend's FA Cup tie have made it a perfect beginning for a side who looked serious promotion candidates for most of last term - only a dire run of results in the latter stages of the season ensuring they missed out on playing Premier Division football.

However, they have certainly hit the ground running and have been in particularly fine form in front of goal - netting eight already. Robert Gallagher has scored three times in two outings with Graham Mankin notching a goal a game.

Saturday's visitors were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Hythe & Dibden last weekend in their only game to date - Wayne Boud scoring their goal.

After back-to-back away fixtures, tomorrow's contest starts a run of four home games on the spin for 'Stock. They welcome Knaphill for their next FA Cup tie next weekend either side of league games against Alton and Totton & Eling before a trip to near-neighbours Downton after the August Bank Holiday weekend.
