SOUTH Wilts Cricket Club enjoyed a six-wicket success away at Lymington on Saturday.

The hosts, who started the day at the top of the table, won the toss and batted first.

Dominic Hand, 3, was the first batsman out - run out by Jack Richards with just 21 on the board.

Despite knocks of 59 by Calvin Dickinson, 28 by Ben Rogers, 25 by Richard Lock, and 21 by Ryan Scott, they were all out for 168.

In reply, opener William Wade scored 58 to nudge them towards their target, helped by Tom Cowley, 32, Jack Mynott, 15, and James Hayward, 40.

Ben Draper, 10 not out, and Sam Arnold 11 not out, saw them home in the 46th over.

Lymington's defeat means Bashley are the new leaders. South Wilts, who face Andover next weekend, are third.
