SOUTH Wilts lost by seven wickets after being skittled out for just 100 runs at home to Burridge in their latest Southern Premier League contest.

The hosts lasted 53.5 overs, departing shortly after reaching three figures.

James Hibberd stuck around to score an unbeaten 33 on a day when only three other team mates managed double figures. Nicholas McMurray took 3-30 for the visitors while Brighton Mugochi closed with 3-10.

Although South Wilts looked to have Burridge in some trouble at 11-2, William Steward, 42 not out and Marcus Campopiano, 16, saw them home.

The return of just one point from the contest means the Salisbury side slip to fifth with a points average of 14.40. Lymington are top of the pile with 17.83.

South Wilts' seconds suffered a similar misfortune away at Langley Manor. Bowled out for 75, they then saw the hosts reach their target for the loss of four wickets inside 14 overs.
