AMESBURY Cricket Club bounced back from two early season defeats with a resounding win at home to Fawley in Saturday's County Division Four (West) match.

Andy Renshaw hit a ton at Archers Gate as they posted 241-5. He eventually closed on 113, with skipper Jayme Underwood contributing a more than useful 50. The openers enjoyed a 110-plus run partnership.

In reply, the visitors were halted shortly after reaching three figures.
