SALISBURY FC registered their 23rd league win of the campaign when beating Winchester City 3-1 on Tuesday evening.

All of the goals came in the opening 45 minutes.

Justin Bennett put the hosts in front after just two minutes. Thomas Wright doubled their advantage on 18 minutes and the points were effectively wrapped up when Eddie Perrett made it 3-0 five minutes later.

Winchester's Sam Wilson reduced the deficit in the 34th minute.

Salisbury are fourth in the table, one point behind Tiverton Town but with a game in hand.
