SALISBURY Hockey Club's men's first team extended their unbeaten run to an impressive seven games with victory at home to Haslemere II on Saturday.

A solitary goal was all that was required to secure the three points that keep the Wilton Road side second in the table.

League leaders Gillingham were 3-0 victors at City of Portsmouth and remain three points clear with two games in hand.

Southampton University beat Trojans II 3-2 to stay third, one point adrift of Salisbury.
