SALISBURY Hockey Club's ladies; first team picked up three more points away at Jaspers on Saturday.

The Skew Bridge side edged the contest 3-2 to remain second in the Premier Division 2A table.

Newent, 4-0 winners at strugglers Cheltenham II, are six points clear at the summit.

Salisbury's seconds were victorious for only the third time in the East Division this season when defeating Team Bath Buccaneers III 2-1 at home. The win lifts them above Wimborne Wayfarers, beaten 2-1 at at City of Bath, into eighth spot.
