SALISBURY Racecourse's penultimate fixture of the year, staged tomorrow (Wednesday), now boasts seven races.

The opener, the Wilkins Kennedy British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes, now has two divisions - the first going under starter's orders at 1.50pm.

The scheduled one-mile race, originally at 2.20pm, has been abandoned due to areas of unstable ground.

Among the feature races is the Weatherbys Hamilton Handicap (3.55pm) - nine entries compete for the lion's share of the £20,000 purse, including the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Fidaawy - victorious at Carlisle and Doncaster earlier this summer - and Mike Murphy's Zamperini - a winner at Sandown last time out (July 1).

Concluding the day's business are two divisions of the Bathwick Tyres Handicap (4.30pm and 5pm).

The Going is currently Soft (Good to soft in places).

Gates open at 12 noon.
