RUSHMORE Golf Club's Ben Stow is one of four full England internationals, all at college in the USA, who will represent England Golf in the annual Jones Invitational Cup in Georgia later this month.

Stow, along with Seb Crookall-Nixon (Workington, Cumbria), Greg Eason (Kirby Muxloe, Leicestershire), and Ben Taylor (Walton Heath, Surrey) will compete at the Ocean Forest Golf Club at Sea Island, on January 31 to February 2 seeking to secure a title that has continually eluded English players.

The 22-year-old University of Kentucky student, has been an England international since 2011, a year in which he won the Welsh Youth's Championship and the South West Championship as well as helping Wiltshire to the first of their back-to-back County Championships.

He was also the leading individual when England won the European Men’s Challenge Trophy in Iceland in 2012 and was a member of the last two Home Internationals teams.

The Jones Cup comprises a field of 84 top amateurs from the US and around the world, who will compete over 54 holes of stroke play for this prestigious title which was inaugurated in 2001 as a biennial event, but which is now played annually.
