A RAFT of nine new personal best performances and a better set of team results than for many months were the rewards for City of Salisbury athletes at the Eastleigh 10k league race at the weekend. DOWNTON FC made it back-to-back wins when beating Hythe & Dibden 1-0 on Tuesday evening. Declan McGregor scored the all-important goal for the Robins, who were 2-0 victors away at promotion hopefuls Tadley Calleva at the weekend. It was the striker's eighth league goal of the campaign. Next up for Downton is Saturday's local derby at Amesbury Town (3pm) - the first of four away games on the spin.
